Cops kill man who fatally shot woman at Resorts World Casino

A jealous man shot his ex-girlfriend to death in the parking lot of the Resorts World Casino in Queens early Tuesday and was shot and killed by cops in Brooklyn a short time later, police sources said.
The violence began about 2:20 a.m., when the 51-year-old man got into an argument with his ex, also 51, after seeing her kiss her new boyfriend in a parked car in the casino lot, sources said.
The suspect, who works for a charter bus company affilIated with the casino, got out of his car and opened fire on the woman and her new beau, sources said. The new boyfriend, a supervisor with the bus company, managed to escape unharmed and flee to his car while the suspect repeatedly fired at his ex-girlfriend’s car.

The suspect then got back into his white Dodge Charger with New Jersey plates and fired at the boyfriend, driving towards his car. The gunman then fled to Brooklyn.
The woman, struck a number of times in the chest, was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, where she died at 2:51 a.m.

Cops fatally shot the suspect about 5:30 a.m. at Stanley and Pennsylvania Aves., police sources said. They found him by pinging his cell phone, the sources said.
It wasn’t clear if had fired on police.

In April, the Resorts World Casino was the scene of a massive brawl involving at least two dozen people, which led to arrests of two men. In an apparent coincidence, a man allegedly fired a gun outside the casino during the melee, but charges against him were quickly dropped.
At least one other deadly shooting marked the end of Memorial Day weekend, with an unidentified man in East New York, Brooklyn, getting fatally shot in the torso shortly before 9 p.m. Monday. Police have yet to confirm a full tally of overnight shootings.
