Two men were shot, one fatally, in the Bronx early Friday, police said.
A 33-year-old man died after he was shot in the torso and grazed in the head, while the second victim was shot in the torso when gunfire erupted near 242nd St. and Murdock Ave. in Wakefield around 1:20 a.m., according to police sources.
Emergency responders rushed the first man to Montefiore North Medical Center, where he died, police said.
The second victim, who appeared to be in his 40s, was taken to Jacobi Medical Center and is expected to survive, according to officials.
Witnesses told cops they heard several gunshots before a car peeled out and fled the scene, police sources said.
The shooter remained at large Friday morning.
