Tonight, the Knicks head West to Denver to face the Nuggets for the first of a five-game road trip. This will be the final of two meetings between the Knicks and the Nuggets this season, as New York took the first contest, 109-93, on November 16. The Knicks look to get back into the win column tonight after falling to the Indiana Pacers, 92-86, on Saturday. Meanwhile, the Nuggets enter play tonight trying to halt a two-game losing streak after losing, 114-100, to Houston on Saturday.

Knicks big man Andrea Bargnani scored 21 points to along with five rebounds and two blocks on Saturday versus Indiana. Over the past five games, he’s averaging 18.6 points per contest. Bargnani will match up against Denver power forward Kenneth Faried, who is averaging 11.4 points and 8.7 rebounds per game this season. In the first meeting between the Knicks and Nuggets, Faried was solid as he tallied 16 points and nine rebounds.

Alexey Shved registered 15 points, five rebounds and three assists Saturday against the Pacers. It was the third time in four games that he scored 15 points. Shved, has been a pleasant surprise since being traded from Houston at the trade deadline.

Wilson Chandler scored 26 points to along with five rebounds, two assists and four steals in the loss versus the Rockets on Saturday. Chandler is averaging 15.4 points and 6.2 rebounds over the past five games. He had 11 points, five rebounds and four assists in the first game versus the Knicks this season.
