Cold weather will continue in New York City with the possibility of up to a few inches of snow by the time the weekend is through, according to the National Weather Service.
Friday morning will be mostly cloudy with possible snow showers, with temperatures in the upper 20s and clear skies by the afternoon.
Bundle up if you go out Friday evening, however, because thermometers will drop to between 10 and 15 degrees.
Things will get a bit better on Saturday, which will be cold but sunny, with highs in the mid 20s. Saturday night will be mostly clear with lows around 20 degrees, but more snow could come Sunday afternoon and continue at night, accumulating up to a few inches while temperatures remain in the low 30s, the NWS says.
